Overview

Before settling into any one product, I spent a few years moving between small concepts and client prototypes. This case study samples five of them: three mobile app ideas, a route-accounting tool built for delivery drivers on an iPad, and a time-tracking web app.

I.

Mobile Apps

Three early mobile concepts, each solving a different problem: T3 blends two photos into one, Snapminder turns a snapshot into a reminder, and Studigy organizes video lessons by subject. Switch between them below.

T3 welcome screen with a split photo of two people, Gallery and Start options T3 tutorial screen reading Contour the shape you want to mount, over a landscape photo T3 blend screen reading Tweak it, showing a cat and dog photo blended together with a slider control T3 result screen reading add Feather, showing the finished blended photo

jLan is a route-accounting app for delivery drivers working directly with retail accounts: routes, order guides, billing with signature capture, customer surveys, and stock counts, all built for a large-format tablet used in the field.

jLan dashboard showing a sales rep's weekly overview, customer visits, and completed stops jLan client list with a map, contact details, and recent order history for the selected account jLan order guide listing soft drink products with quantity and price fields jLan order line detail for Diet Coke, with product photo, pricing tiers, and order history jLan billing screen with an on-screen keyboard for entering payment and invoice details jLan customer satisfaction survey with rating questions jLan stock count screen with an on-screen number pad for entering inventory counts

What this demonstrates

Different products, different constraints — a phone screen, a warehouse tablet, a browser tab — but the same questions every time: what does this screen need to do right now, and what can wait until the next one?
